A B O U T   T H E   C O U N C I L

The A Cappella Council at William & Mary was founded in the early 1990s as a way to foster a positive community among all groups. The council now serves many more functions like facilitating auditions, organizing the fall and spring showcases, as well as the Family Weekend performances and sharing gig opportunities with the groups. The council is comprised of the prime leadership from each group and led by a President, Vice President, Publicity Chair, Treasurer, and Diversity & Inclusivity Chair elected by the a cappella community each spring. The council is also the main resource for any and all information about a cappella for new students!
